Little White Things

Step Back

After a great online reception, this tune was released by Chess Club Records as part of a double a-side with “Corner Of” in late 2016. I’ve been in an out of the studio with the guys all year and we have a lot more music to release over the coming months.

Michael Jablonka

Peacefully

Recorded a couple of tracks with Michael and his band in Spring 2017.

We kind of reworked this track in an afternoon in the studio. We were going for a kind of groovy soulful grunge track and I’m well pleased with how it’s come out.

Released: September 2017

Indigo Husk

Goes Around

Indigo Husk are a new 4-piece based in South London.

They know their way around an indie pop hook and they an amazingly tight live band. This recording was recorded live in about 3 takes one afternoon in March 2017. They’ve got a kind of a raucous Strokes/Libertines sound. We’ve recently been back in the studio recording two more songs that should be coming out soon.

Released: July 2017

Bokito

Aloof

Bokito are a afro-beat inspired indie-pop act from Dublin/London.

This song was so fun to record. Not only does it have some excellent vocals, we dug deep into the selection of percussion, synths and vintage drum machines that are available at Press Play Studios.

Released: September 2017

ISLAND

Spotless Mind

ISLAND are an exciting new four-piece from London and their self-released debut single “Stargazer” has quickly reached 1 million plays on Spotify.

This is the first to be released in a set of recordings we recorded at my Fortress Studios room at the end of 2015. The latest to be released was Waves.

Sad Palace

Rainbow Melt

Sad Palace are four-piece from the south coast who play a balmy combination of psychedelia, blues, riff rock and indie that manages to be technical and catchy at the same time. We recorded Frostbeat at Press Play Studios.

They were mixed by me in my Fortress Studios room.

Two track cassette available now on Alcopop Records.

Released: September 2017
